内容摘要
应用翻译,或称实用翻译,不同于传达有较强情感意义和美学意义的文学翻译,应用翻译以传达信息为目的,同时考虑传递信息的效果,其题材范围几乎涵盖当今政治、经济、社会和文化生活等的各个领域,可以说应用翻译在日常生活中起着举足轻重的作用。在本科英语专业翻译教学中加大应用翻译教学的力度既符合教纲提出要求又满足市场的需求,但是相比庞大的市场需求来说,应用翻译教学的研究一直相对来说发展较为缓慢。本文首先通过对论述本科英语专业翻译教学的定位以及相关翻译市场的调查指出应用文翻译教学的重要性与必要性;其次通过问卷的形式,调查目前英语专业翻译教学中应用翻译教学的实际情况。问卷主要着重于教材,教学内容和翻译练习三个方面。通过调查,文章指出在目前的本科英语专业翻译教学中,应用翻译并未得到应有的重视且存在着课程设置不合理,缺乏综合性教材,学生缺乏相应的翻译练习等问题,并对应用翻译教学提出个人建议。
