概念整合理论视角下的翻译认知机制研究

内容摘要

翻译作为一种社会活动由来已久，它随着人类社会的产生而出现，并随着人类社会的发展而日益复杂。长期以来，人们对于翻译的研究更多地集中在具体的实践领域，而翻译的认知研究则相对滞后。由于翻译活动是在人脑中进行的，很难直观地对其进行研究并清晰地揭示翻译的认知实质。因此，对翻译的认知进行研究，可以使翻译研究进入一个更广阔的领域并形成完整的理论体系，对于翻译中所存在的一些问题也能够做出合理、有效的解释。本文对翻译的认知过程进行了深入研究，首先通过语言应用与认知过程、译者认知的重要性以及翻译过程和认知过程来说明翻译和认知的关系，并通过对翻译动机、翻译解码、中间过程、重新编码以及翻译校订等五个方面对翻译过程进行了充分研究，进一步指出翻译过程就是一种认知过程。近十几年来，概念整合理论作为一种新兴的认知理论得到了人们越来越多的关注。因为其结构特点是动态统一的，所以人们运用该理论来分析各种认知活动和认知现象。该理论的实质就是通过四个心理空间的相互映射建立起一个概念整合网络，其中类属空间的存在使得不同文化图式之间有了共通之处，而层创结构又解释了认知的创造性。本文拟通过概念整合理论的强大的认知阐释力，将概念整合理论同翻译的认知过程相结合，从认知语言学角度阐释人类的翻译活动，搭建翻译的概念整合体系,研究翻译内在的认知机制，并通过对当前所存在的一些翻译问题进行探讨，提出了客观的翻译策略。心理空间的相互映射使翻译活动更加清晰，直观地呈现在我们面前。层创结构的存在解释了翻译活动中多译本，重译本的合理性和合法性。然而，概念整合作为一个理论体系需要不断的发展完善，因此本文的研究课题也必将随着该理论的不断拓展而深化，并与其他研究一起形成翻译研究的一个方向。
