内容摘要

过去的二十年见证了中国社会主义建设的全面发展。在此过程中,我国与世界的交流也日益频繁。所有的这些交流都离不开信息的传播,而新闻翻译以其独特的方式有效、迅速得将信息呈现于各国读者面前。随其重要性的彰显,新闻翻译也成为翻译研究中的新兴领域。本文作者通过对文化和跨文化交流理论以及新闻翻译的特质的分析,认为新闻翻译是一种跨文化交流的行为,而跨文化交流中所遇到的文化障碍在新闻翻译中也有所体现。在处理这些新闻翻译中的文化障碍的时候,通用的翻译方法只能解决词语和语句层面的问题,而当面对文化差异所引起的新闻篇章结构和意识形态不同的问题时则显出其局限性。对此,作者在分析通用方法在新闻翻译中应用的同时,也试提出了编译和改译的方法。编译和改译从新闻写作中的编写和改写而来,在读者细分的基础上,这种可能违反翻译中的忠实性原则的方法在新闻翻译中也有其独特适用之处。
