非英语专业学生课外自主听力学习实证研究

内容摘要

自主学习在国内外的外语教学界得到了普遍的关注与倡导。国内外学者从理论与实践角度对此进行了广泛、深入的探讨与研究。但目前的研究多关注于课堂学习的自主培养,课外学习尚未得到应有的关注。鉴于语言学习漫长而艰辛,需要学生课堂内外的努力,课外自主学习值得深入探讨研究。本文作者通过实证研究探讨了促进学生课外听力学习的有效可行方法。受试对象为江南大学非英语专业的166名学生,他们被分为实验组和控制组,每组均为83人。笔者在实验组开展了为期14周的课外自主听力学习实验活动。在实验中,笔者对学生的课外听力学习给与指导和支持：开展听力策略培训,指导学生选择听力资源,并帮助学生构建课外自主听力学习循环；与此同时鼓励学生通过写听力日志来反思和评价自己的课外听力学习,以提高学生的自主责任意识。笔者运用了定性和定量的方法来检测实验的有效性。实验结果表明：实验组的学生能更好地掌控自己的课外听力学习,他们在实验后的听力成绩与控制组相比有更显著的提高。在此过程中,教师的参与和指导起了关键作用。
