翻译研究范式的变革：从主体性向主体间性转向

内容摘要

目前，翻译的主体性与主体间性成为翻译研究的热门话题和理论界关注的重点之一。本论文从当前国内对这一课题研究的现状出发，以哲学上的主体性向主体间性转向为理论基石，以翻译研究三种范式的历史演进为线索，以三类不同性质的主体性的表现为理论视角，分析了翻译主体性研究的困惑，同时阐明了笔者对翻译主体间性的认识，提出了哲学的主体间转向对翻译理论四方面的建构意义。目前翻译研究仍处于主体性研究阶段。无论是作者中心论，文本中心论还是译者中心论都是片面的，翻译研究三种范式演进的历史就是一个中心取代另一个中心的历史，翻译主体性研究所造成的逻各斯中心主义和形而上学倾向使翻译研究从一个极端走向另一个极端，陷入了极端的困惑之中而不能自拔，结果导致主体性的扭曲：重建作者意图论是一种对译者主体性的遗忘；文本中心论对文本进行客观化分析，实际上是一种主客两分的科学认识论模式；译者中心论则是对译者主体性的过分张扬，导致对文本的过度诠释。因此，这三种翻译范式反映了主体性研究陷入了困境，翻译研究呼唤主体间的出场。哲学上的主体间性理论对翻译学的理论体系建设具有四方面的指导意义： 1) 主体间性理论给翻译研究提供了人文科学的方法论，即从认识论转向理解论 2)主体间性理论超越了传统翻译研究中的二元对立的行而上学的思维模式 3)主体间性理论可以指导翻译学的学科建设，即个体主体转向共同主体 4)主体间性理论给界定翻译各要素之间的关系提供了理论支持
