大学英语科技文章的翻译失误，解析和归因

内容摘要

与普通英语不同,科技英语有着自己的特点.就翻译方面而言,译文要明白通畅,文理通顺,结构合理.这三条原则在实际应用中成为科技英语翻译的指导和标准.在大学英语的各版教材中都会出现科技文章,在四、六级考试的阅读理解中也会有科技文章,然而由于对科技文章特点的不熟悉,在翻译理解方面存在很多的问题。这也给大学英语的教学提出了新的课题。本文把科技英语的特点与大学英语教学的实践相结合,对大学英语的教学提出建设性意见以提高教学质量。为了解决学生对大学英语科技文章理解失误的问题,首先从文体学的角度来分析科技英语在词汇、语法、语篇方面的特点,并从翻译的方面来阐述科技英语翻译的标准和特点。接下来我们选定大学一、二年级的学生进行科技文章的翻译练习,并运用语言学的理论知识来分析学生在翻译科技文章方面的错误并归纳总结了原因。分别从语域的角度来分析在词汇方面的错误,运用语法知识来分析学生翻译中出现的语法错误,从语篇分析的角度来分析翻译中篇章结构的错误。通过量化分析,找出学生错误集中的地方,并从对词汇的理解、汉语的表达、思维模式、以及对句子结构的模糊等角度对错误进行了归因。在数据分析的基础之上结合大学英语的教学,从教师、学生以及教法等方面提出相应的解决策略,以提高大学英语的教学,并为三、四年级专业英语的学习打下良好的基础。
