穆旦诗译的诠释学翻译理论研究

内容摘要

诠释学作为西方哲学理论的一支,其历史可追溯到两千年前的古希腊。在发展过程中,施莱尔马赫在19世纪上半叶建立了方法论诠释学;海德格尔使诠释学研究由方法论转向本体论;伽达默尔建立了真正意义上的哲学诠释学系统。斯坦纳的巨著《通天塔之后》的出版,标志着诠释学翻译理论的成熟,该理论的核心概念有三:翻译是理解的过程;语言的可译性;翻译的步骤。这一理论在20世纪后半叶的中西方翻译界产生了巨大的影响,翻译的诠释解读一度成为热门,也引起了来自女权主义者等的指责和辩论。本文通过对诠释学翻译理论的发展历史、本质和特征、以及其在西方和中国的影响和研究做出研究,并在此基础上从诠释学翻译理论的角度对穆旦的西方诗歌翻译(以《唐璜》为例)做出解读和分析。其他当代翻译理论在文中也有所涉猎,如运用文化翻译学派的意识影响等对其诗译做出进一步的解读,分析穆旦在特殊历史条件下对部分字词的选择和处理。本文的结论是,从以诠释学翻译理论为角度、以《唐璜》为例的穆旦诗译分析可以看出,穆旦在特殊历史背景下的翻译实践值得肯定,诠释学翻译理论在翻译理论与实践中仍占得一席之地。在翻译研究多元化的趋势下,其他翻译理论对穆旦诗译的解读也能有所启发。
