基于语料库的中国英语专业大学生口语立场标记语使用情况研究

语言是人们表达情感和立场的重要手段。近年来越来越多的学者开始关注关于评价性语言的研究,其中包括立场标记语的研究。本文以Biber及其同事在《朗文英语口语和笔语语法》中提出的立场标记语的范式和分类作为理论框架,在语料库研究理论和方法的指导下,对中国英语专业学生和英国本族语的使用者在口语中立场标记语使用情况进行对比分析。通过对中介语的对比研究,观察中国英语专业学生和英国本族语使用者在口语中在使用立场标记语方面的异同,以期对中国英语口语教学提供一些建议。本研究的口语语料库为中国学习者口语笔语语料库中(SECCL)的口语子库和英语国家语料库(BNC)中的口语子库。本文首先根据Biber及其同事对立场标记语的分类,在中国学习者口语语料库和英语国家语料库口语子库中提取相应的立场标记语,分别探究立场情态动词,立场程度副词,立场状语和立场补语及立场介词短语在两大语料库中的使用情况。通过统计分析,结果表明中国英语专业大学生有比较好的英语语言能力。中国英语专业学生和英国本族语使用者在口语中使用立场标记语的大体趋势相似,但在频率上有比较显著的差距。总体上来说中国英语学习者在每一类立场标记语的使用频率都比本族语使用者要高,并且都存在过多使用和过少使用的情况。另外,本文针对这些差异,探讨了差异产生的原因。这些原因包括语言差异,交际策略,第二语言输入的缺乏,及考试的影响,并指出教学建议。
