词块法在大学英语议论文写作教学中的实证研究

内容摘要

在英语教学和学习中,英文写作扮演着很重要的角色,英文写作体现了学习者的输出能力。随着Michael Lewis词块教学法的提出,许多教师都进行了词块教学法的尝试。本文试图分析怎样应用词块教学法帮助学生提高英语议论文写作能力,分析词块在英语写作中的影响因素,并试图寻找提高英语写作教学的有效途径。议论文是大学英语写作中的重要部分。本文采取实验的方式验证词块在英语写作中的影响,探索一个提高大学生英语议论文写作能力的方法。实验设计某学校两个班的大学新生作为研究对象,其中一个班级为实验班,另一个为控制班,根据两个班级的写作成绩进行比较分析。本文应用SPSS软件研究两个实验班的成绩。实验结果表现为实验班的学生能够应用更多的词块,相比控制班他们的文章更加地道,通顺；接受词块法教学的实验班级成绩优于传统教学法的控制班。研究表明词块法教学可以在一定程度上有效地帮助学生提高英语写作能力。
