内容摘要

省略是一种避免重复、舍弃旧信息、突出新信息、使上下文紧密相连的修辞手段。无论是马丁内提出的经济原则,还是格赖斯的合作原则,抑或斯珀伯和威尔逊的最佳关联原则,都要求言语表达在不影响意思的情况下尽量简洁、精炼。事实上,不管是日常语言还是文学语言,省略都无处不在,即有语篇就有省略,能否对省略语篇进行成功解读,直接影响着人们的沟通与交流。作为语篇衔接的一个重要衔接手段之一,早已有学者对其进行研究,但百余年来,学界对省略的研究多停留在句法、语法层面上,比较片面;20世纪80年代,部分语言学家尝试着从语用、语义的角度去诠释省略语篇;80年代后期和90年代,随着认知语言学的迅速发展,有人开始用认知语言学的理论来解释省略语篇,但还不够深入;本文就是对听力省略语篇的理解过程进行认知心理维度的考察。语境和认知能力的结合是省略的重要成因,也是对省略句语义进行正确理解的重要因素。省略的实质就是语义上应该有的内容,在句法结构上可以出现却没有出现,但这部分内容可以借助语境通过认知能力推知。作为一个新兴的语言学分支,认知语言学对某些语言现象有其独特的解释力,用认知语言学中的ICMs(Idealized Cognitive Models简写为ICMs)来解读听力省略语篇也将会是一个全新的视角。利用ICMs的原理对听力省略语篇进行研究,有助于在语言交流中对该现象做出深入剖析,也有助于学习者在接收信息时成功地填补省略的语义空缺,以便完整地理解输入信息、顺利进行交流。
