内容摘要

近年来,英语在高职教育中的地位越来越重要。高职的英语教育就是要训练和提高学生使用英语的能力,尤其是口语能力,这样有助于学生在竞争激烈的社会中找到更理想的工作,更好地与他人交流。然而,高职英语口语的教学现状并不乐观。现在,高职英语课多是以教师为中心,学生缺乏练习口语的机会和氛围,英语课的教学方法相对落后。随着国家提倡语言教学要从以教师为中心向以学生为中心的转变,合作学习法作为一种新型有效的教学法开始越来越受教育界关注。合作学习法从教学过程的集体性出发,着眼于学生之间的互动,将合作性团体结构引入课堂教学之中。简单的说,合作学习法是通过运用小组合作学习的方式来实现教学目标。本文针对高职学生英语基础差,对英语学习兴趣低及口语焦虑等特点,通过合作学习法在英语口语教学中的实施,以期帮助学生提高其口语能力,相应改善不够理想的高职英语口语教学现状。本项研究旨在证明合作学习教学法在高职英语口语教学中的有效性和可行性。本论文欲研究的问题有：1)合作学习法是否能够改善学生的学习氛围,激发学生说英语的兴趣?2)合作学习法是否能帮助学生克服说英语时的心理障碍?3)合作学习法在高职英语口语教学中是否可行?4)合作学习法对学生的英语学习还有哪些帮助?参与研究的对象为河南司法警官职业学院的非英语专业大一学生。实验时间为2009年4月到6月,共12个教学周的时间。实验数据和结果分析来源于口语测试,课堂观察,学生的问卷调查与访谈。SPSS16.0帮助分析口试结果和问卷调查得来的数据。本实验通过定量与定性分析,证明了合作学习的有效性。研究发现,合作学习法对提高高职学生英语口语成绩有很大帮助。它能够改善班级学习气氛,激发学生学习动机和兴趣,为学生提供说英语的机会并显著降低说英语的焦虑感。合作学习法能帮助学生增强学生集体责任感,增加自信,提高学习能力,另外,学生社会交际能力也有很大提高。因此,在高职英语口语教学中实施合作学习法是可行的。
