公示语的汉译英

内容摘要

汉语公示语的英译是我国对外宣传的窗口，其英译效果对于提升我国的国际形象，促进我国的对外交往和经济合作具有十分重要的意义。本文以功能翻译理论为指导，通过对公示语文本特点及语用功能的分析和对功能翻译理论的主要流派的介绍，从语言、文化、心理及美学等层次对公示语的翻译进行理论性的探讨，并结合大量实例，提出一些实用的翻译原则和技巧，旨在为公示语的翻译提供一些借鉴，并引起业内人士对公示语翻译的关注和思考。全文共分四章。前言是对全文的概述，介绍了我国公示语汉英翻译的现状和研究成果，并提出本文的研究内容和研究方法。第一章介绍公示语的定义、分类、功能及文本特点。第二章介绍功能翻译理论的三个主要流派，即诺德的目的论、纽马克的文本分类说和奈达的功能对等理论以及功能翻译理论在公示语翻译方面的启示和贡献。第三章着重从语言和文化的角度对汉英公示语的语言特点和文化差异进行分析，就当前公示语翻译存在的问题，围绕功能翻译理论提出解决办法。第四章则从心理和美学的角度对公示语汉英翻译中的读者心理、译文的可接受性、翻译的听觉效果和视觉效果以及译者的美学感悟等方面进行分析，并围绕功能对等理论提出切实可行的翻译策略。文章最后进行总结，指出功能翻译理论能够有效地指导公示语汉英翻译，公示语汉英翻译须从语言、文化、心理及美学等角度分析，方能达到理想的效果，并对译者的自身建设提出了建议。
