计算机专业英语词汇量化分析

内容摘要

本文通过计算机程序对现行若干计算机专业英语课本中的词汇与大学英语六级词汇进行量化分析及比较，从构词法角度研究并归纳出计算机专业英语教材中高频词(出现频率高于平均频率的词汇)与六级词汇之间的关系。计算机统计数据及相关分析表明六级词汇仍然是计算机专业英语词汇的核心。掌握好六级词汇对计算机及其他相关专业的专业英语学习具有重要的意义。然而，由于计算机专业英语高频词中大量六级以外词汇的存在，并且一些六级英语词汇在计算机专业英语中的词义也发生了变化，因此要掌握计算机专业英语词汇，仅靠六级词汇量是不够的，还要进一步学习计算机专业英语的专业词汇。根据以上研究成果，本文对计算机专业英语的教学提出了几点建议。
