内容摘要

译者研究一直是翻译理论与翻译实践领域的结合点,一则因为科学、系统的理论体系能够指导译者进行合理、有效的实践;二则因为译者实践经验的总结、升华形成的理论体系能够提升译者对翻译本体的再认识、再理解。作为“中西译论结合,古今思想继承,自成一体创新”的翻译理论研究者的典范,著名翻译家刘重德先生的杰出学术成就得到我国翻译理论界的充分肯定和一致赞赏。本研究选取刘重德先生为研究对象,介绍其生平以挖掘其学术的历史根基和哲学根基、阐述其理论以明辨其思想体系的系统性和科学性、分析其译作以还原其翻译理论的应用性和普适性,对刘先生的毕生翻译实践事业和思想总结进行探究。本文分为七部分。第一部分是引言,阐述本研究的立意、目标、意义等,并介绍文章结构。第二部分文献综述主要介绍研究对象---刘重德先生,以探析他早年人生经历对其翻译思想乃至学术思想的重大影响,即其历史根基。此外,本部分也对小说“Emma”和《爱玛》刘译本进行简要评述。第三部分介绍刘重德先生的元翻译思想,即他对翻译的定义以及对翻译本质的理解。第四和第五部分分别分析刘先生的翻译原则和翻译策略。第六部分探究刘先生翻译思想的哲学根基---中庸之道,并且提出翻译哲学研究思路。最后部分作为结论,总结全文内容,提出文章作者对本研究的评价和展望。
