初中生词汇学习策略使用情况的调查研究

内容摘要

词汇作为语言的基本单位,成为语言学习的重要因素。在词汇的学习过程中,学习者词汇学习策略的运用与他们的词汇成绩及词汇学习效率的高低有着密切的关系。目前,在词汇学习策略的研究对象上,国内外学者主要以研究生和大学生为主,而对初中生的研究较少。本论文旨在研究初中生英语词汇学习策略的使用情况。本论文以江苏省鹿楼中学七年级的152名学生为研究对象。本文包括四个方面的内容,‘第一,本问卷以Schmitt的词汇学习策略的词汇项目为基础,同时针对中国的中学生英语词汇学习策略运用的实际情况,作者选取其中的39道题设计了问卷,调查初中生英语词汇学习策略的总体运用情况;第二,基于鹿楼地区的初一英语课本-预备课程(牛津初中英语),作者从课本的生词表中选取词汇,设计了词汇测试,研究学生词汇学习策略的运用与词汇测试成绩的相关性;第三,作者根据第一学期本校七年级学生的期中考试成绩,同时借助数据统计软件包SPSS13.0,分析了高分学生组和低分学生组在英语词汇学习策略使用方面的差异性,第四,基于这次问卷中的词汇项目,作者设计了10道访谈题目。研究结果表明：第一.在词汇学习策略的总体运用方面,大多数学生使用最多的英语词汇策略为认知策略,其次依次为记忆策略,决定策略,社会策略,而对元认知策略的使用频率最低；第二.学生词汇学习策略的运用与他们的词汇学习成绩存在明显且密切的相关性；第三.高分组与低分组学生在英语词汇学习策略的使用方面有显著的差异性。
