从语用学视角看汉英口译中的语用失误

内容摘要

汉英口译作为一种跨文化交际方式，已较为普遍。传统对于汉英口译的研究，大多侧重于译员语言能力的培养或者口译技巧及策略。而口译的跨学科研究，即把汉英口译与语言学、语用学、心理学亦或其它学科相结合研究相对较少。为此，笔者试图从语用学视角来研究汉英口译中的语用失误。Tomas于1983年在其论文《跨文化语用失误》中提出来了语用失误的概念。并将语用失误定义为“不能理解所说话语的言外之力”。对于汉英口译而言，正确的理解对译员进行准确言语转换至关重要。因此对源语信息正确的理解和尽可能避免语用失误的发生是成功口译的关键。本文将首先介绍口译和语用失误的基本概念，分类及两者之间的关系。笔者试图用语用学言语行为和礼貌合作原则理论来例举分析语用失误问题。从而找出导致语用失误的主要原因是由于文化差异、思维方式和表达方式的不同。最终进一步归纳出在汉英口译中尽可能减少语用失误的有效的方法。比如：在口译中建立文化自觉；提高使用语言的能力；完善语言学相关知识体系；增强语用学知识；了解文化差异和进一步加强口译的教学方法等等。最终回顾本文的不足之处以及对未来的相关研究提供的参考和帮助。
