英语学习词典中形容词源强化词的处理研究

强化词是表达程度意义的词类，在口语和书面语表达中起着重要作用，其研究涉及语义、搭配、句法、语用等诸多方面。语料库语言学理论的发展以及各种现代英语语料库的创建，为研究强化词提供便利条件。然而，目前对英语学习者词典中形容词源强化词处理状况进行系统研究的几乎为空白，更无语料库支持下的处理状况分析。本研究选择四本收词规模相当的高阶英语学习者词典：《牛津高阶英语词典》（第七版），《朗文当代高级英语辞典》（第四版），《麦克米伦高阶英语学习词典》（第一版），《科林斯高阶英语学习词典》（第五版），从中收集以-ly结尾的形容词衍生而来的强化词。从基于使用的理论视角，结合词典调查和语料库调查讨论派生类强化词的词条处理方式以及强化义项的呈现情况。研究发现，频率作为选择条目词的主要，高频派生词更容易规约化而获得词目地位，其规约化的强化词用法及意义也得以体现。通过分析发现，许多形容词衍生而来的强化词往往呈现出多义性以及多功能特征，他们在保留基本词意义的同时产生额外的强化意义。然而其强化义项及用法往往因无释义的内词条处理方式而被忽略。对于强化词在词典中的处理方式，本文建议将那些在意义上与他们的基本词部分对应或完全不对应的派生强化词处理成条目词并设立相应义项更为合理。这一研究表明，基于使用的理论以及语料库调查可以为研究派生词的词典处理提供理论和方法支持。本研究有助于深化派生类强化词的语言学研究，也对解决词典编纂中派生词的处理问题提供重要的参考价值。
