中职英语教学中的文化因素

内容摘要

随着科学技术的飞速发展和社会的不断进步,世界正向全球化和一体化发展,具有不同文化背景的人们之间的交往也因此日益频繁。所以跨文化交际能力就成为中国外语教学的最终目标,跨文化意识也第一次出现在新英语课程标准中。社会急需掌握一定知识、能够与来自不同文化背景的人进行跨文化交际的人才。在跨文化交际实践中,人们经常遇到文化冲击、文化障碍、和文化误解。而且人们发现文化错误要比语言错误严重得多。有必要培养中职学生跨文化交际意识及基本的跨文化交际能力的要求。因此,为了使交流顺利进行,改进传统的英语教学,把文化教学放在优先考虑的范畴已不容忽视。本文应用文化传播理论和侧重调整或适应理论论述了中专英语语言教学中的文化因素。围绕着此论题,本问介绍了中专英语教学面临的新形势,本问研究的背景和意义,回顾了前辈们的研究成果,同时论述了与本文相关的理论,说明了中专英语教学中文化教学的现状。针对与此,提出了本文的假设。为了验证此假设,作者对普兰店的两所职业中专的英语教师进行的访谈,也对普兰店职业教育中心两个教学班的学生进行了问卷调查和对比实验教学。实验前后的问卷调查和测试对比的结果正式了作者的假设：通过文化教学可以提高学生的英语学习兴趣并且能够改变学生学的英语学习态度；也可以提高学生的英语文化素养和英语成绩；同时文化教学对语言教学也是大有裨益的。在实验证明假设是正确的基础上,作者提出了在职业中专英语语言教学中应该进行文化因素教学,同时,本文提出了英语教学中进行文化教学的原则及措施。
