大学生英语整体学习策略研究

内容摘要

怎样才能学好英语?这个问题经常被中国学生问起。基于理论研究和英语教学实践,本文试图从系统论的宏观视野回答这个大问题。以全语言哲学、素质教育思想和二语习得理论为基础,构建一套英语学习系统和英语学习策略理论框架。为中国大学生学习英语提供一种整体解决方案。本研究构建的英语学习系统模型如汉语“器”字形状。在“器”字系统中,学习者为主体,环境为客体,策略为桥梁,英语技能为目标产品,素质发展为副产品。学习者利用环境资源,运用策略,付诸努力,提高英语技能,同时锻炼素质。英语学习系统的“器”字模型把英语学习和素质教育相结合,教学方法和学习策略相统一。“器”字系统包含一套整体型英语学习策略。整体学习策略试图让学生在全面提高英语听、说、读、写能力的同时,自主性、合作性和社交性等素质也得到全面发展。整体模式把英语学习策略分为战略(全局计划)和战术(具体方法)两个层面。战略指总体方面,包括管理策略、认知策略、情感策略、资源策略和社交策略。战术主要是认知策略下的认知方法,又分为英语知识(语音、词汇、语法)学习方法和英语技能(听、说、读、写)训练方法两大类。整体英语学习策略的优势在于:1、解决战略问题,关心学生学习动机和自主学习,激励其愿意学和努力学。2、解决战术问题,建议科学的英语学习方法。3、从战略的高度调动一切积极因素和资源,而传统方法一般指认知战术。4、如学习型组织,是一种发展和灵活的系统,因人因时因地制宜,以自我修正机制,从实践和反馈中改进完善。
