翻译生态系统中文化平衡机制的构建：文化生态学的视角

内容摘要

文化是人类社会特有的现象。文化是由人类所创造,为人类所特有的。有了人类社会才有文化,文化是人们社会实践的产物。与自然界的生态规律一样,文化也是单一性导致脆弱性,多样性产生稳定性。而翻译就是一种跨文化交际活动,所以如何通过翻译中文化的生态平衡来实现文化的多样性,以达到文化的可持续发展也是我们翻译界应该思考的话题。本文首先提出翻译生态系统这一概念,分析翻译生态系统的一些内在因素和要求,接着讲述了翻译中文化的迁移和杂合,然后从文化生态学的角度出发,分析了文化生态系统的特点,针对这些特点,提出翻译生态系统中文化平衡机制的构建方式。通过文化平衡机制的构建来实现翻译生态系统的生态平衡。本论文共分为四章,第一章仿照生态学中的生态系统提出了翻译生态系统的概念,分析了翻译生态系统的服务价值、结构与稳定性、健康评价与管理。第二章介绍翻译与文化的关系,指出翻译这一活动的整个过程要受到社会文化因素的制约,也会对其所处的社会文化大环境产生反作用。文章分别论述了翻译中文化的迁移和杂合现象。论文第三章则讨论了翻译与文化生态学,在本章的开头对文化生态学进行了整体的概述,然后就文化生态系统的特点展开了论述,作者认为文化生态系统中的文化在个体层面具有独特性和依赖性,在系统层面存在创生性、开放性和多元性。本章的末尾从文化生态学的角度出发揭示了文化生态学对翻译的启示。本文的第四章根据文化生态学对翻译的启示提出了在翻译生态系统中文化平衡机制的构建方式。当然首先介绍了文化平衡机制的内涵,此处的平衡不是天平式的平衡,而是一种相对的、整体的、多样性的动态平衡,是一种各文化之间相互适应、相互协调、相互补偿的平衡。接着引入了文化平衡机制的两对矛盾,提出了翻译生态系统中文化平衡机制的构建方式。作者认为,在翻译这一活动中,主要有替代式翻译、吸收式翻译、适译、不译等方式可以用于文化平衡机制的构建。在文章的最后论述了文化平衡机制与文化迁移及杂合的关联以及翻译生态系统的稳定与文化平衡机制的紧密联系。
