任务型教学法在高中英语词汇教学中的应用研究

词汇教学是外语教学重要的组成部分,有效的词汇教学有利于外语教学目标的顺利实现。但是,在高中英语教学过程中，采用传统教法的词汇教学的效果却不尽人意。面对庞大的词汇量，学生在记忆上有很大困难。即使背过了，也不能灵活运用。随着英语教学改革的发展,国内外的教师和学者们一直在从事词汇教学的研究与实践。在中国，关于如何有效地进行词汇教学,就有很多论著和先进的教学方法。近年来,以学习者为中心的任务型外语教学日益受到广泛关注。在实施任务型教学法过程中,学习者们可通过参与一些语言活动,获得学习使用语言的机会。但关于任务型教学的研究主要聚焦于听、说、读、写等技能,专门针对高中英语词汇教学的研究尚不充分。本文作者旨在通过课堂教学实验，验证任务型教学法在高中英语词汇教学中的有效性和可行性。《英语课程标准》为高中生所应掌握的词汇量设立了更高的标准。常规的词汇教学法忽视学生语言能力的培养,也不利于词汇的习得。任务型外语词汇教学为词汇的“习得”提供了有意义语境,从而简化了学生的接受过程。笔者以无极中学132名高一学生为实验对象,其中65名学生为实验组,67名学生为控制组,在此基础上，笔者进行了为期一学期的课堂教学实验，通过测试和问卷收集信息,用统计软件包SPSS16.0进行分析。结果表明在词汇教学中应用任务型教学法可以提高学生学习和使用英语词汇的能力，而且任务的使用促进了学生口笔头语言中所用词汇的流利度，准确性和丰富性。另外，任务型词汇教学法激发了学生的学习兴趣，增强了学习动机。这些结果正好验证了笔者在实验之初确立的假设。尽管如此,有限的研究对象和研究时间还不能确保应用任务型教学法对中国所有高中的英语词汇教学是有效的，还需在本校更多班级以及同类学校进行实证研究，才能验证任务型教学法在高中英语词汇教学中的有效性。
