内容摘要

Since the reform and opening to the world, several ten million Overseas Chinese and Chinese Abroad have been playing unique effects in the open-door process and foreign affairs of China. They are to be the "unique opportunity" for China to make the big development. They not only positively support and participate in the modernization construction of China, enlarge the external influence of the country, but also promote the country developing friendly relation with other countries, and push the realization the unifies of homeland.Overseas Chinese and Chinese Abroad is a special society group. They have their own history. There are self-factors and also many political environmental conditions of home and abroad for them to become "unique opportunity" of China. In the 21st century, China will realize the modernization of nation and the great reviving of the Chinese nation. In this process, Overseas Chinese and Chinese abroad will still be the "unique opportunity" of China. It is important for us to investigate how to promote them more positively support and participate in related affairs of China.This thesis comprises 4 parts except the brief foreword: The first part reviews the history, present condition, distribution and the feature of the Overseas Chinese and Chinese Abroad and what they render service to the homeland on history.The second part analyze why and how The Overseas Chinese and Chinese Abroad to become the "unique opportunity" of China, since the reform and opening to the outside world.The third part mainly introduces what they have done since the reform and open-door policy has been introduced to China, Including participation the modernization construction of China, Promoting China opening to the outside world, and helping China in the foreign affairsThe 4th part inquired how we would do best to promote the Overseas Chinese and Chinese Abroad to go on helping China in state before related areas in 21st century. Surely, the "unique opportunity" of China will do more and more for China in the future.
